To apply for UIF (Unemployment Insurance Fund) registration, you can follow these steps:
- Obtain a UI-8 form from your nearest Department of Labour office or download it from the Department of Labour website at www.labour.gov.za.
- Complete the UI-8 form with your personal and business information, such as your name, ID number, contact details, and company registration number.
- Submit the completed UI-8 form along with the following documents to your nearest Department of Labour office:
- Company registration documents
- ID copies of all directors and shareholders
- Proof of banking details
- Latest financial statements
- Proof of address
- Once your application is submitted, you will receive a confirmation of registration letter with your UIF reference number.
- Use this reference number to access your UIF account and manage your UIF contributions and claims online.
