UIF status check online USSD

To check the status of your UIF (Unemployment Insurance Fund) claim online, you can follow these steps:

1. Go to the official website of the Department of Employment and Labour in South Africa, which is www.labour.gov.za.
2. Click on the “UIF” tab on the top menu and select “UIF Online Services” from the drop-down menu.
3. Scroll down and click on “COVID-19 TERS Benefit” or “UIF Benefit”.
4. Enter your login details (username and password) or register for a new account if you don’t have one yet.
5. Once you’re logged in, you’ll be able to see the status of your UIF claim.

To check your UIF status via USSD, you can follow these steps:

1. Dial 1203737# on your mobile phone.
2. Select option 1 for “UIF Contribution” or option 2 for “UIF Benefit”.
3. Enter your ID number when prompted.
4. Follow the prompts to check the status of your UIF claim.

Please note that you will need to have a valid UIF reference number to check the status of your claim using either of these methods.
